Why is FCCLA and FCS is important to students?
The world is constantly changing today into something that is bigger and better than the last. By participating in FCCLA you can be apart of that change. In this organization you will be able to learn more in the classroom about the things in your choice of career. This organization will help you develop career skills that will be beneficial for the rest of your life.
This organization does not only help develop career skills, but it also allows you to develop skills that will help you at home. One thing that is not changing in our world today is the need for the ability to provide a strong home and family life. Within this organization you will learn skills that are necessary for a strong home foundation such as child care, sewing, cooking, and other basic life skills that are needed by everyone.
Along with learning career and home skills, you will gain skills that will change your life for the better. These skills include confidence, leadership, accountability, communication, integrity, and much more beyond those. These skills that you will gain will grow through the opportunities and learning experiences that this organization and our chapter provides for each one of its members.
Every single piece of knowledge or attributes that FCCLA provides for each student is essential for students to have in order to grow into the leaders that our world needs.
